Justin Hunter Injury: Tennessee Star's Return Questionable After Injuring Knee

Stay connected with SB Nation

Justin Hunter was expected to be a major factor for Tennessee in their annual rivalry game against Florida. Instead, a knee injury may mean Hunter is done for the day after one catch.

Hunter, who limped off the field, favoring his left knee, after a first quarter catch, remains in the locker room at The Swamp, and his return has been termed questionable by Tennessee. CBS' Tracy Wolfson reported that Hunter is still being examined, and that one of Tennessee trainers conveyed Hunter's condition to the Vols' wide receivers coach by merely shaking his head.

Without Hunter, the Vols' vaunted passing attack, which ranks 10th nationally, may be severely limited. Tyler Bray will have to go to Da'Rick Rogers more if Hunter cannot return.
