Florida Vs. Tennessee Halftime Score: Gators Up, But Will Muschamp Is Livid

Stay connected with SB Nation

Florida seemed like a juggernaut early on against Tennessee, but late proficiency from Tyler Bray helped the Vols right the ship in the second quarter. At the half in Gainesville, Florida leads, 16-7.

Bray and the Vols put together a six-play, 89-yard drive in the second quarter to score the first touchdown against Florida's defense this year, and appear to be finding a rhythm through the air after flailing with a more balanced run-pass approach in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, the Gators went from wreaking havoc early to drawing tons of penalties late. Florida committed eight penalties for 80 yards in the first half, including four pass interference infractions. That string of yellow flags earned the referees a tongue-lashing from a livid Will Muschamp as the half ended, as the fiery Florida coach berated them on the way to the locker room.
