It was a great day for the Miami defense, as they man handled the Buckeyes, and helped the Hurricanes defeat Ohio State, 17-6.
The Buckeye passing game was non-existent today, as quarterbacks Joe Bauserman and Braxton Miller combined for 35 yards on just four completions, while also throwing an interception. The Buckeye running game did play better, with 37 rushes for 165 yards, however, they couldn’t find the endzone all game.
The Hurricane offense was very productive today, with running back Lamar Miller leading the way. Miller ran over the Buckeye D and had 26 rushes for 184 yards. Miami totaled 240 yards on 42 rushes.
Hurricane quarterback threw two touchdown passes to Allen Hurns, who led all wide receivers with 54 yards. Harris ended the game sixteen of 23 for 123 yards with two interceptions and the two TD passes.
