N.C. State Vs. Cincinnati Game Time, TV Schedule, Spread And More

Cincinnati is looking for payback after last year's 30-19 loss to the Wolfpack.

While this Thursday night game will be played in the backyard of the Cincinnati Bearcats, it represents a homecoming for North Carolina State Wolfpack head coach Tom O'Brien.

O'Brien grew up in Cincinnati and played high school football at St. Xavier High School in town.

The two teams played in Raleigh last year, with NC State winning 30-19. The game sent both teams in different directions. The Wolfpack propelled themselves to 9-4 while Cincy went into a tailspin, finishing 4-8.

Both teams enter the contest with 2-1 records that leave a lot of questions unanswered. Their wins have mostly come over lesser opponents and the losses were to middle-of-the-road BCS squads.

Look for the quarterbacks, NC State's Mike Glennon and Cincinnati's Zach Collaros, to set the tone and put up plenty of numbers as they've been doing.

Game date, time: 8:00 pm ET, Thursday, September 22nd

Location: Nippert Stadium, Cincinnati, OH

TV channel: ESPN

Spread: Cincinnati favored by 7.

Series history: NC State leads, 1-0.
