FSU Vs. Clemson Game Time, TV Schedule, Spread And More

Florida State and Clemson face off Saturday in an important ACC clash.

The Florida State Seminoles are a team loaded with talent, but they'll be without some of that talent on offense against the Clemson Tigers on Saturday. At least one key player at all of their offensive skill positions is questionable or worse for the game, and Jimbo Fisher is going to have to make some adjustments to his normal gameplan to account for the different types of players he's going to have to field.

Quarterback E.J. Manuel, running back Chris Thompson, and wide receivers Kenny Shaw, Willie Haulstead and Bert Reed are all questionable or doubtful. Another wide receiver, Jarred Haggins, is out for four to six weeks. If Manuel can't start, freshman Clint Trickett will make his first start. Trickett has been impressive in relief of Manuel, but does not have anywhere near the athleticism. Oklahoma didn't have to respect his ability to run on the zone read option that Florida State occasionally runs, and that hurt the Seminoles last week.

Meanwhile, Clemson and their potent rushing attack are coming off a big victory over Auburn. The Tigers weren't expected to do much this year, but if they manage to beat Florida State - despite FSU's injuries and the game's location - they're a team the country will have to start taking seriously.

Game date, time: 3:30 pm ET, Saturday, September 24

Location: Memorial Stadium, Clemson, SC

TV channel: ESPN/ESPN3

Spread:  FSU favored by 3
