The Virginia Tech Hokies are playing a road game against the Marshall Thundering Herd today. Here's VT coach Frank Beamer visiting the Marshall football memorial site at Springhill Cemetery in Huntington, honoring the memory of the 1970 plane crash that claimed 75 Herd players and coaches.
Here's the stone he left behind, which bears the names of two Virginia Tech graduates who died in the crash, Marshall coaches Frank Loria and Rick Tolley:
