Texas A&M Vs. Oklahoma State Halftime Score: Aggies Dominant At Home, Lead 20-3

Stay connected with SB Nation

One team is scoring points in Oklahoma State's Big 12 showdown with Texas A&M in College Station. It's just not the squad that came into the game third in the nation in scoring offense: Texas A&M has scored consistently and clamped down on the Cowboys' offense, and leads 20-3 at halftime.

The Aggies got points on four of their five half drives, and tallied 301 total yards, but their success was in slowing down the Cowboys before points became an option. Oklahoma State scored on its first drive, then not again in the first half, as strong third down defense limited the Cowboys to two conversions in seven tries.

That's a good way to make 185 yards of total offense mostly fruitless. Three sacks of Brandon Weeden and blanket coverage on Justin Blackmon helped the Aggies, too. But at least Oklahoma State hasn't committed a turnover yet!

Ryan Tannehill has accounted for 218 yards of total offense so far for A&M.
