Clemson Vs. Florida State Final Score: Death Valley Claims Another

A week after the Clemson Tigers ended the defending national champions' winning streak in Death Valley, they've knocked off a 2011 preseason title contender. It's a 35-30 final score over the No. 11 Florida St. Seminoles for the No. 21 Clemson Tigers, who remain undefeated and have made their case for a top-15 ranking (for now).

FSU entered the game minus starting quarterback E.J. Manuel, which is pretty important, but backup Clint Trickett played well despite still being really skinny. He threw 38 times for 336 yards, three touchdowns and only one interception -- and his pick wasn't anywhere near as disastrous as the one Clemson's Tajh Boyd put together. Boyd had another strong game otherwise (22-of-35, 360 total yards, three touchdowns).

Sammy Watkins again provided the fireworks, putting up 171 yards receiving, 13 on the ground and a pair of scores, plus a 20-yard punt return.

Can Clemson stay unbeaten once they leave home for the first time all season? They'll find out against Virginia Tech next week.
