Florida St. Seminoles junior defensive back Greg Reid was arrested Monday morning. According to the Orlando Sentinel's Coley Harvey, Reid "was booked on perjury not in an official proceeding and resisting an officer without violence." Call it peaceful non-snitching, I think. Reid's bond was reportedly set at $500.
FSU blog Tomahawk Nation isn't gonna stress a little thing like perjury, not with the sweet schedule Florida State's got lined up:
Impact: minimal. These are misdemeanors and FSU has a bye week followed by games at Wake Forest and at Duke. A two to three week suspension might be warranted here.
Got a point there. It's the second time this young season Reid has gotten into some sort of trouble or another. He had already been suspended, along with teammate Telvin Smith, for Week 2's game and suffered an injury against the Oklahoma Sooners that kept him out against the Clemson Tigers.
