Trent Richardson's Traffic Stop, And The Most Baller Excuse Of All Time

There are few different headlines that could emerge from this. An unpaid "student-athlete" like Alabama's Trent Richardson was driving a 2011 GMC Yukon—that seems suspicious, if you're interested in digging around to get college kids in trouble. He was nailed for speeding, too—that seems reckless, maybe. But really, focusing on anything beyond explanation for speeding ignores the toxic levels of swag in the air here:

The law enforcement officer also noted as part of the "Details" section of the speeding ticket that Richardson "STATED HIS LARGE RIMS THROW SPEEDOMETER OFF."

"Sorry Mr. Officer, didn't know I was speeding. THE RIMS IS JUST TOO BALLIN, SON."
