Yes, I know you're thinking there's no way that headline is correct. After all, Vermont doesn't have a football team -- it was disbanded in 1974. But I assure you, the Catamounts are the mysterious 14th member of the SEC. And I have the evidence to prove it. There's even a photo.
Here is Exhibit A. In rresponse to the question of whether or not some conferences should get more maximum BCS berths, something the SEC has lobbied for, this is what America said.
H/T @NFLKB
All looks normal here, right? Most of the United States in red, signifying no, and SEC country in blue, signifiying yes. But look closer! We've magnified the area in question.
Why in the world would Vermont join SEC country in voting yes for such a proposal? Simply, Vermont plans to revive its football program and accept an invitation to the SEC. This surely proves it beyond a reasonable doubt.

thats kind of a weird poll question
Its not asking if there should be no limit to the number of teams, it’s basically asking if the sec should get special treatment. Its like saying “should some people be allowed to take three cups of jello, lonely peasant eating at the cafeteria?”

I was the lone vote from Vermont.
I was just visiting on a business trip involving Ben & Jerry’s newest flavor of ice cream (pork rinds) when I happened to vote in the poll, the only vote cast from Vermont.
