No. 22 Florida opens a new era against lightly regarded Florida Atlantic.

It's hard to quite know what to make of Florida as the Gators get ready to start the Will Muschamp era. Practices have been closed to media and there are still lots of questions about a team that has some holes to fill. The spread offense that defined the Urban Meyer era has been scrapped and in its place is a pro-style offense run by Charlie Weis, of New England Patriots and Notre Dame fame.

The good news is that they will be facing a Florida Atlantic team that hardly has the look of a juggernaut. Coming of a 4-8 season, this will be the final year under coaching legend Howard Schnellenberger. The Owls will be led by senior running back Alfred Morris, who rushed for 928 yards and seven touchdowns a year ago.

Game Date, Time: 7pm ET, Saturday, Sept. 3

Location: Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, Gainesville, Fla.

TV Channel: ESPNU

Spread: Florida by 35
