Miami Vs. Maryland Score: Ugly Terps Pretty On Offense, Lead 10-0

The Maryland Terrapins may be dressed up like both the Montagues and Capulets at the same time, but new offensive coordinator Gary Crowton has put together a competent attack early on. The Terps have produced 220 yards worth of offense in under 16 minutes, and without two red zone shortages (a Danny O'Brien interception and a stop that led to a field goal) they'd be up very big already.

Sure, they're playing a Miami Hurricanes team that's without approximately 87 defensive linemen, but still.

O'Brien has 156 yards passing already, with that touchdown going to Ronnie Tyler and the yardage high belonging to Kevin Dorsey so far. Current Miami starter Stephen Morris has completed two of four for 32 yards, which has been more than half of Miami's offense.

Those uniforms are marvelous, and I feel a little sad for Maryland fans trying to talk themselves into these things being good for recruiting. That's a Nike thing.
