The Oklahoma Cowboys will have their star wide receiver Justin Blackmon for this game, but Arizona's Juron Criner is reportedly going to miss it.

The last time the Arizona Wildcats and the No. 9 Oklahoma St. Cowboys stepped onto the same field was just last December in the Valero Alamo Bowl. The Cowboys easily came away with the 36-10 victory, led by wide receiver Justin Blackmon's nine receptions for 117 yards and two touchdowns. The Wildcats are going to use that loss as motivation to come out strong this time around.

This game was supposed to feature two of the best wide receivers with the Cowboys' Blackmon and Arizona's Juron Criner both on the field. However, Criner, who grabbed six passes for 151 yards and a touchdown in the Wildcats' 41-10 victory over Northern Arizona, is out for this game. Blackmon was impressive with eight catches for 144 yards in his first game.

But neither of those receiving corps will be able to do much unless their quarterbacks continue with their strong performances from Week 1. Arizona's Nick Foles found his targets in the end zone five times and threw for over 400 passing yards, but the Cowboys' secondary is on a different level than Northern Arizona's. Plus, there are some concerns that Foles and his offense score too fast, which could cause time of possession issues for them going forward.

Oklahoma State's Brandon Weeden, 27, threw three touchdown passes but saw Louisiana-Lafayette pick off three passes. That can be chalked up to first-game jitters.

Soon this matchup could become a regular event if the conference realignment dominoes fall and the Cowboys head for the Pac-12 with Oklahoma, Texas and Texas Tech,
