Montel Harris Injury: Knee To Keep BC Workhorse Out Vs. UCF

Boston College's Montel Harris will need to miss one more game due to knee injury recovery.

After missing Week 1 against the Northwestern Wildcats, Boston College Eagles star running back Montel Harris will sit again due to his ongoing knee injury. BC gets the Central Florida Knights this week, with Harris hoping for a return against the Duke Blue Devils after that.

The state of the Eagles' offensive situation minus the Preseason ACC Player of the Year and potential local record-book-rewriter, via BC Interruption:

The offense will again turn to Andre Williams and Tahj Kimble to anchor the Eagles rushing attack on Saturday. After his initial 69-yard romp to open up the game, Williams was limited to only 53 yards on 21 carries the rest of the game (just 2.5 a carry). Kimble only carried the ball 2 times for 9 yards last Saturday.

Harris had knee surgery in August to take care of an injury that had lingered since the previous season. He was expected to miss one or two games, so this news shouldn't be taken as a sign of a setback.
