VIDEO: Alshon Jeffery, Alfonzo Dennard Ejected After Fight In Capital One Bowl

Stay connected with SB Nation

South Carolina Gamecocks offense (basically) Alshon Jeffery was tossed from the Capital One Bowl after being subjected to a flurry of aggressive activity from Nebraska Cornhuskers cornerback Alfonzo Dennard. Jeffery did some shoving of his own in return. The two had been yappin' throughout the game, and it was becoming clearly tense.

An enormous loss for South Carolina. Jeffery's provided one of the Gamecocks' two touchdowns and set up what should've been another score with a 78-yard catch in the second quarter. He leaves with 148 yards on four catches, and that might be it for one of the best careers in school history.
