Hey, did you know that there is a rule in football that allows a team to score three points? If you are not able to get into the end zone but you are reasonably close to it, you can kick the ball through those yellow things at either end. The Wisconsin Badgers have become the first team in the 2012 Rose Bowl to take advantage of this rule, and after kicking a field goal, trail the Oregon Ducks, who lead by a score of 35-31.

UW didn't do much on the drive, but they were in a position to score before it started. Jared Abbrederis returned the kickoff 66 yards, giving his team the ball on the Oregon 36. A few runs by Montee Ball, including this first down and hurdle attempt, put the Badgers into field goal range.
