Oregon Football Holds Rose Bowl Advantage Late

Facing a fourth down in Wisconsin Badgers territory, Chip Kelly called for the attempt. Darron Thomas hit Lavasier Tuinei -- who now has 158 yards -- for the first down. Moments later, reached fourth down again, but this time sent out Alejandro Maldonado to give Oregon a full touchdown lead late.

The drive killed more than five minutes worth of clock, which isn't really Oregon's bag but certainly works against Wisconsin at this point.

Fewer than seven minutes remain, and while Wisconsin can score in bursts, they haven't had a scoring play of longer than 20 yards since their opening drive. A lengthy Badgers scoring drive plus a quick Oregon retort could just about end it. But we're wildly speculating here.
