Dwayne Allen, NFL Draft 2012: Clemson Tight End May Go To Denver Broncos In First Round

The 2012 NFL Draft is rapidly approaching, accompanied by a whirlwind of speculation and analysis. One of the top targets in this year's class of receivers is Clemson Tigers tight end Dwayne Allen, who was ranked as the No. 1 tight end in this year's draft by Mocking the Draft, and the No. 30 overall pick in their Top 100 of 2012.

In his latest mock draft over at CBS Sports, Dane Brugler suggests that Allen may be selected by the Denver Broncos in the first round, as the No. 25 overall pick. Here is Brugler's analysis:

If the Broncos decide to stick with Tim Tebow as their quarterback, they need to surround him with as many weapons as possible. Allen is the best all-around tight end in this class and presents a big target for the quarterback. He will start from day one in the NFL and give the Broncos a talented safety valve.

It remains to be seen where Allen will end up, but he certainly seems like a good fit for the Broncos and an excellent option for Tebow to target.
