Kansas St. Wildcats junior defensive end Meshak Williams has movement in his extremities following a scary collision in the second quarter of Friday's Cotton Bowl, Curtis Kitchen of WCSP in Kansas City reports.

Williams had helmet-to-helmet collision with teammate Emmanuel Lamur while attempting to tackle Arkansas Razorbacks quarterback Tyler Wilson. Lamur was able to leave the field on his power, but medical personnel removed Williams' helmet and stabilized his neck before he was carted off the field on a stretcher and transported to Arlington Hospital.

Kitchen adds that Williams could be cleared to leave the hospital tonight.

A JUCO transfer from Hutchinson Community College, the 6-foot-2, 245-pound Williams had 27 tackles, including 10 for a loss and a team-high seven quarterback sacks on the season.
