FCS Championship Game road warriors North Dakota State have taken the first lead of college football's premier actual championship game, with Ryan Jastram knocking in a field goal. Sam Houston State didn't make it easy, coming up with a goal line stand when Will Henry stoned Sam Ojuri to force the kick.

Brock Jensen has been carving up SHSU so far, throwing seven times for 77 yards. The Bearkats haven't gotten much offense going, other than a 36-yard catch by Richard Sincere.
Highly impressive number of NDSU fans who've traveled 1,200 miles to Frisco, Texas. This game is just down the road for Sam Houston fans, but Bison faithful have showed what bowl games are missing by failing to provide successful teams with anything more to play for. I'll just keep soapboxing.
