Maryland Terrapins quarterback Danny O'Brien, apparently not thrilled with the program and/or coach Randy Edsall, is looking to transfer elsewhere. He's not going to be allowed to transfer to a current or soon to be ACC school, as well as Vanderbilt, for some unknown reason. Since those aren't options, he's reportedly looking at the Ole Miss Rebels, South Florida Bulls and Arizona Wildcats.
O'Brien, the former ACC Rookie of the Year, has plenty of suitors. He had a very rough sophomore season, but was much better as a freshman. The schools that are in need of a quarterback are obviously a bit more interested in what he did pre-Edsall than what he did under Edsall. O'Brien is reportedly looking for both stability and a good conference, but the former doesn't exactly apply to Ole Miss and Arizona. Both teams just changed coaches.
