Max Garcia Drawing Transfer Interest From Around SEC

So far, rumors of possible destinations for the latest crop of Maryland Terrapins transfers are lining up according to stereotype. Of course the Wisconsin Badgers and Mississippi Rebels want to import quarterback Danny O'Brien, and of course the SEC East is looking right past the star quarterback and making googly eyes at the big offensive lineman.

Max Garcia has the Georgia Bulldogs, Florida Gators, and South Carolina Gamecocks among his suitors, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. The Dawgs may have the inside track, as he's from Georgia and has said he left Maryland in order to be closer to home.

Garcia can't transfer to Vanderbilt, West Virginia, Temple, UConn, or any ACC school, the AJC reports. You can deduce your own Randy Edsall-related rationale for each of the schools specifically named in that list.

The group also includes linebacker Mario Rowson. If everything continues, he'll be getting a call from Penn State shortly. Because Penn State has always loved linebackers and will always love linebackers, you see.
