Florida Gators tight end A.C. Leonard has been suspended from the team after news broke yesterday of a misdemeanor battery arrest. Leonard was accused of shoving a girlfriend and dragging her from an apartment by her hair. Coach Will Muschamp issued a quick statement on the matter:
"This behavior will not be tolerated and A.C. has been suspended from team activities at this time."
"I certainly don't condone this type of behavior -- it is not what we expect from the University of Florida football program."
It is the 10th arrest of the Muschamp era at Florida, with Leonard becoming the ninth player to be cuffed. Nevertheless, Leonard still appears to be in good spirits:
