Top Tennessee Volunteers receiver Da'Rick Rogers was non-suspended suspended by Derek Dooley while certain things were taken care of. I realize that's vague, but that's what we're working with. Dooley said the absence would continue as long as it continued. Again, pretty vague.
Whatever it was, consider it done:
Da'Rick Rogers was back on the practice field. Dooley said "he's fine."

Rogers had been considering a transfer back to his native state, specifically to play for Georgia State. While certain reports had Rogers ready to sign on with Bill Curry any second now, a source told SBNation.com the deal wasn't done. He did tell Panthersville.com that he'd only consider Georgia State as a potential destination. However, Georgia State didn't hear from him, nor was there any indication they'd be willing to bring him on if they had.
Rogers led the SEC in receiving yardage last year, and it feels strange to say a FCS team would have to think about whether to take on a player with that status, but he appears to be a player who requires a little extra attention.
