Kellen Jones has transferred for the second time. The freshman inside linebacker saw some limited time with the Oklahoma Sooners last season, but was not expected to be one of the top two inside linebackers on the depth chart heading into next season. Jones, who previously arrived at Oklahoma by way of Michigan, has decided to transfer to Clemson. He won't play next season, but will have three years of eligibility remaining.
Kellen Jones has to sit this year but will take the RS year and have 3 to play.

Jones is following Brent Venables, his former position coach, to Clemson. The Tigers fired defensive coordinator Kevin Steele after they gave up 70 points to the West Virginia Mountaineers in the Orange Bowl and hired Venables, the linebackers coach and defensive coordinator at Oklahoma, as his replacement.
