Oklahoma Spring Game: Norman Weather Could Include Tornado Outbreak

Stay connected with SB Nation

The Oklahoma Sooners are set to wrap up spring football in Norman on Saturday, but area weather could pose quite the challenge. The National Weather Service predicts tornadoes from Oklahoma City to Kansas beginning Saturday afternoon -- the game is scheduled for 2 p.m. local time, with events and such before and after.

There's no word yet on what schedule adjustments may happen. In the meantime, let's all read Crimson And Cream Machine's guide on what to look for on Saturday, should Saturday work as planned:

Tomorrow brings us our final opportunity to see Oklahoma's football team in action until September rolls around. Several thousand people will attend the game from a variety of reasons ranging from the nostalgia of being in Oklahoma's Memorial Stadium to a chance to see a glimpse of some up and comers. However, there are also those who are looking to see a specific thing or two from the team such as Landry Jones' foot work or Javon Harris' reaction to the play-action pass. To that group the success of the glorified scrimmage will rise and fall on what they see.
