Arkansas has suffered its second arrest in the past two weeks, but it appears to be another of the relatively insignificant variety.
The Arkansas Razorbacks are putting up consistent arrest numbers as of late, but have yet to really ring up the scoreboard. The latest: backup wide receiver Kane Whitehurst was allegedly busted for possession of drugs and paraphernalia early Sunday morning.
Whitehurst redshirted last year, but with Jarius Wright and Joe Adams among those moving on, he entered spring ball with a chance to enter the depth chart. Bobby Petrino's offense requires many a wide receiver, and Whitehurst has the compact frame to contribute in the slot. He was a three-star wide receiver recruit out of Alpharetta, Ga., two years ago.
Last week, offensive lineman Jason Peacock was arrested for allegedly using a stolen card to buy $35 worth of gas.
