Arkansas football coach Bobby Petrino was reportedly involved in a motorcycle wreck Monday morning and has been hospitalized. There's no account yet of the extent of his injuries.
Arkansas Razorbacks coach Bobby Petrino was hospitalized shortly after suffering a motorcycle wreck at 6:45 p.m. local time Sunday in Madison County, according to Robbie Neiswanger. The extent of his injuries is unknown at this point, but he's reportedly remained in the hospital.
Details are very scarce at this point, but obviously that's not good news. We'll hope the coach is all right and that the hospitalization was mostly of a precautionary nature.
Arkansas football is in the middle of spring practice, holding a team scrimmage over the weekend. The Hogs get back star Knile Davis this year after he missed all of 2011 with a knee injury. Tyler Wilson looks to be the SEC's best quarterback. Hopefully Petrino is okay and that's the sort of stuff we'll be able to focus on again as far as his team is concerned.
