When news broke that Arkansas Razorbacks football coach Bobby Petrino was involved in a Sunday night motorcycle crash, some were surprised to learn that the coach rides bikes. His coaching persona is like that of an angry computer, so it's not easy to picture him piloting dangerous vehicles in his free time.
However, he has plenty of experience riding motorcycles. Chris Bahn digs up some older details on Petrino's hobby. The coach has said he learned to bike as a kid:
Bobby Petrino, on the other hand, graduated from dirt bikes to bigger, more powerful motorcycles. When one of his three sisters was dating her future husband, a young Petrino liked to hop on the boyfriend's Honda motorcycle and take off on it.
And there's this on what might be his current ride:
Petrino told me his wife bought him a Harley in an auction. He said he'd take casual rides around Beaver Lake. #arpreps

There's still no word on Petrino's health status as of Monday morning.
