Arkansas Razorbacks head football coach Bobby Petrino was in a single-vehicle motorcycle accident Sunday night, having to be hospitalized through Monday. He's reportedly suffered relatively minor injuries including some broken ribs, but is expected to return to practice as soon as possible.

In a statement, the university offered some good news on Petrino's health status:

Arkansas head football coach Bobby Petrino was involved in a motorcycle accident Sunday evening near the town of Crosses in Madison County, Ark. Arkansas State Police responded to the accident.

The university is releasing the following statement from coach Petrino's family.

"Coach Petrino was involved in a motorcycle accident on Sunday evening that involved no other individuals. He is in stable condition and is expected to make a full recovery. Our family appreciates respect for our privacy during the recovery and we are grateful for the thoughts of Razorback fans at this time."

Jeff Long, director of athletics and vice chancellor, said he has been in touch with the Petrinos and added that he will consult with the family to provide additional information at a later time. Until then, there will be no further information or comment on the accident per the Petrinos' request.

So there we have it. All is pretty much well in Arkansas.
