Former Maryland Terrapins offensive lineman Max Garcia is set to transfer to the Florida Gators, Rivals' Ryan Bartow reported Saturday. Garcia had narrowed his list to the Georgia Bulldogs, Wisconsin Badgers, USC Trojans and Mississippi Rebels in addition to the Gators.

Garcia reportedly favored Georgia early in the process, as he's a native of the Peach State. He exited Maryland at the same time as quarterback Danny O'Brien, who ended up transferring to Wisconsin. Garcia's most recent visit was to the Badgers.
He's started a number of games in his college career, and will have to sit out a year before he can play next.
