When an athletic director is calling a late-night press conference, it's safe to assume something has gone wrong. On Thursday night, Arkansas AD Jeff Long will meet with the media, reportedly to discuss head coach Bobby Petrino's motorcycle accident and the news that came to light earlier in the day. Petrino was not alone, instead riding with a 25-year-old female athletic department employee, creating quite the buzz online.

While it seems unlikely Petrino will be fired, he could face consequences as stipulated by his contract.
Firing a possibility under the contract. But file this away... "suspension for a period of time without pay."

And there's this, which seems to indicate Petrino could be in trouble for lying, or leaving out information, when telling his superiors about the incident.
UA source tells me: "The university didn't lie." Tons of questions remain, but seems clear Petrino didn't share all facts with UA.

We'll know more as Long meets with the media in just about 20 minutes.
