Former Nebraska Cornhuskers running back Aaron Green has chosen a new school. After narrowing down his choices to schools in Oklahoma and Texas, the sophomore has settled on the TCU Horned Frogs, according to Big Red Today. Green also broke the news himself on his personal Twitter account.
Green backed up Rex Burkhead at Nebraska and touched the ball just 25 times in 2011. He's going to a TCU team that returns all three of their leading rushers. However, two of them are seniors and all three of them had over 100 carries in 2011. Based on how much TCU likes to rotate their running backs, Green is likely to get a chance to break into the rotation and get regular carries sooner rather than later. Ed Wesley and Matthew Tucker are seniors and Waymon James is a junior.
