The West Virginia Mountaineers and Alabama Crimson Tide have been working on a 2014 matchup in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff, but as of earlier on Wednesday, apparently still had a bit of juggling to do. According to Mike Casazza of the Charleston Daily Mail, the deal is now "basically done," with the two teams expected to meet at the Georgia Dome to open the 2014 season.
This WVU v. Alabama thing is basically done done. I'm told the juggling is finished and the one 2014 opponent has disappeared.

Last year's Chick-fil-A Kickoff featured the Boise St. Broncos defeating the Georgia Bulldogs in what was basically a road game for Boise State. This season's edition of the event will be a doubleheader, with the Auburn Tigers taking on the Clemson Tigers in one game and the Tennessee Volunteers facing the N.C. State Wolfpack in another.
