The TCU Horned Frogs, having already been hit with a substantial depth-depleting incident already this offseason, are taking on more damage. Former three-star recruit tackle Nykiren Wellington, who played in two games as a redshirt freshman last year, has transferred to Trinity Valley Community College in Athens, Texas.

Wellington was projected to back up James Dunbar at tackle, a position made perilous earlier this year when Ty Horn was arrested after last year's starters departed as seniors.

There are also rumors that as many as three others are off the team, with some completely unverified accounts naming running back Ed Wesley and linebacker Deryck Glidon, both starters. We'll wait and see if there's anything to that stuff, but both of those losses would be huge.
