The Clemson Tigers this offseason have brought on new defensive coordinator Brent Venables and given offensive coordinator Chad Morris a big raise to keep him away from Ohio State. But they're not done spending money on their coaching staff, with Dabo Swinney reportedly up next:

Since being named the interim head coach in 2008 after Tommy Bowden's departure, Swinney's gone 29-19 and won the 2011 ACC title, also winning his division in 2009. With memories of that Orange Bowl against West Virginia still the freshest in most minds as far as Clemson goes, this might seem like an unusual time for a significant extension. But Clemson did win its conference last year and, most would argue, upgraded the rest of its coaching staff.
