The Oklahoma Sooners have suspended four players indefinitely for violation of team rules, including three wide receivers.
The Oklahoma Sooners football program figures to be short on wide receivers in 2012, at least to start the year. They've suspended four players indefinitely for violation of team rules, and three of those players are receivers. Trey Franks, Kameel Jackson and Jaz Reynolds, all wide receivers, have been suspended indefinitely for violation of team rules. They're joined by defensive back Quentin Hayes.

This leaves Kenny Stills and Trey Metoyer as the only wide receiver on the Sooners' team to start the year who has experience and/or a top-notch pedigree. There's no word yet on what exactly the four suspended players did, but it's unlikely to be a minor offense if they were suspended indefinitely from the team.
