Rarely do you have a "controversy" dumber than the one surrounding Justin Combs, son of Diddy, and UCLA. Forget the nonsense about whether a kid's parents' wealth should affect whether he should receive a scholarship, or whether those who complained have ever really cared about whether poor kids lose opportunities at the expense of the rich.
No, I'm trying to figure out why any group of college students, experiencing what should be the most fun time of their lives, wouldn't want Diddy around. Don't they know Diddy makes things hot? He's been doing it for 20 years. Nobody parties like Diddy, and no one likes to party (likes to party) like college students.
But they don't want Diddy around? Clearly, some folks have looked at Justin Combs athletic career as a glass half-empty. But, with the help of "Bomani & Jones," UCLA's students will see it as half-full. Half-full of Ciroc, that is.
