The highest level of college football is getting four new teams this year: South Alabama, Texas State, UMass and UTSA. But, as one USA blog discovered, South Alabama doesn't appear to be included in NCAA Football 13. A quick check of the actual team ratings video from E3 shows this does seem to be true.
So it looks like we have no Jaguars, unless we make our own.
A request for comment from EA Sports was not immediately responded to.
It could be because USA is doing that provisional Sun Belt thing this year, facing SBC competition but remaining ineligible for the league title, but they're still definitely a FBS team now. One rumor has it coming down to a paperwork deadline -- if the Jags missed out on appearing in the game by not getting something turned in on time, they missed out on a major public awareness opportunity. But let's wait and see if that's the case.
