It hasn't been the smartest month for athletes when it comes to driving drunk. The latest offender: Michigan Wolverines starting running back Fitzgerald Toussaint, who was reportedly nabbed late Saturday night in Ann Arbor blood alcohol content level greater than the legal limit of .08.
Toussaint, a senior, finished second on the team behind Denard Robinson in rushing yards last year, putting up 1,041 along with nine touchdowns. It remains to be seen whether he'll miss playing time for the infraction. If so, he could be out for Michigan's season-opener against Alabama in Dallas.
If he sits, he'll be spelled by senior Vincent Smith and sophomore Thomas Rawls and, well, probably a lot of Robinson anyway.
