SB Nation Studios (subscribe on YouTube!) is ramping up its college football coverage (which already includes Shutdown Fullback along with much more) as the season approaches, continuing with five more videos in the SB Nation Studios 2012 Preseason Top 25 countdown series by Dan Rubenstein and Bill Connelly.
At No. 1, we've got LSU, which appears to be solving its biggest weakness by introducing a big arm at quarterback:
No. 2, the defending national champs who've lost a ton of talent (as usual): Alabama.
Pleased to note the SB Nation Studios No. 3 is Oregon, which actually has a full assortment of scholarship players.
But USC wasn't overlooked, as their vast range of offensive weaponry powers them to No. 4.
And at No. 5, because no top five would ever be complete without them, Oklahoma.

At No. 6, we have Georgia, which could have the best defense in the country but lost a lot on the offensive line:
No. 7 is Florida State, which, hey! They could also have the best defense in the country!
Michigan is your No. 8. The Wolverines got very, very lucky last year, but might be good enough this year to win without catching so many breaks.
Our No. 9 team is Arkansas, which still has perhaps the SEC's most talented offense and a relatively stable coaching staff, except for that whole fired-head coach thing.
And at No. 10, a team picked to win the SEC East by many, South Carolina:

At No. 11, TCU, which has finally clawed its way out of the wilderness and back to the power conference level:
They're followed at No. 12 by new Big 12 mate Oklahoma State, who the numbers love despite all that lost talent:
Texas continues the heartland run, showing up at No. 13 on the strength of its mighty defense and ... what a mighty defense:
Stanford is your No. 14 despite losing Andrew Luck, as the Cardinal still boast a stout offensive line and tough defense:
And at No. 15, the defending Big Ten champions, Wisconsin:

At No. 16, it's Orange Bowl champ West Virginia, making its very strange debut in the Big 12:
Your No. 17 team is Urban Meyer's Ohio State, which has nothing to play for other than pummeling the rest of the Big Ten:
At No. 18, we have Virginia Tech, which has a lot of rebuilding to do but will probably still end up winning nine or more games, as always:
Florida is No. 19, and needs to get something (anything) out of its remade offense to avoid letting a talented defense go to waste:
And at No. 20, Michigan State has a whole lot of passing yardage to replace, but could have one of the country's best defenses again:

SB Nation Studios (subscribe on YouTube!) is ramping up its college football coverage (which already includes Shutdown Fullback along with much more) as the season approaches, continuing today with the beginning of the SB Nation Studios 2012 Preseason Top 25 countdown series.
Among the latest excitement is a series of quick preview videos on major conferences led by Dan Rubenstein and Bill Connelly. The first batch of conference videos is here, the second is here, and below are the first five in our Top 25.
At No. 21, a team that would've earned a much higher spot if not for its catastrophic bowl performance, the Clemson Tigers:
At No. 22, Notre Dame, which can't possibly give up as many soul-crushing turnovers as it did last season -- can it?
Nebraska's our No. 23, set to begin its second Big Ten season and hopefully have a much more normal-looking offensive attack:
At No. 24, an insurgent juggernaut that's replacing one of the best senior classes of all time, Boise State:
And at No. 25, Kansas State, a team that's always better than it's supposed to be, and that will probably do the same again this year:
