Ohio State football player Storm Klein was arrested Friday and charged with domestic violence and assault.
Ohio State linebacker Storm Klein was arrested Friday night for an alleged domestic violence incident. Klein was arrested in Columbus, Ohio and charged with one count of domestic violence and one count of assault.
Klein, a soon-to-be senior, will face an arraignment Saturday morning. In 2005, Klein's father, Jason, was found innocent of a domestic violence charge which stemmed from him spanking a then 13-year-old Storm with a wooden paddle.
During his Ohio State career, Klein has played in 38 games, including 10 starts in 2011. He has racked up 73 tackles in his career, including 45 last season. He also has two career interceptions. Going into 2012, Klein was expected to battle sophomore Curtis Grant for playing time.
Ohio State has yet to comment on the arrest, which is the third legal issue for the Buckeyes since the arrival of new coach Urban Meyer.
