The Penn State Nittany Lions will try to finally just focus on football when they take on Ohio. Check in here for game coverage, updates, highlights and final scores throughout the day.

The Penn State Nittany Lions will be taking on the Ohio Bobcats at home on Saturday to open their season. New head coach Bill O'Brien has an incredibly tough task ahead of him after watching his program have unprecedented sanctions levied against it. It will be fascinating to see how his team responds to such challenges with almost expert in the country writing them off.

The Nittany Lions lost quite a few who transferred after everything transpired in the spring. Without some of their main components like running back Silas Redd (who left for USC), some younger guys will need to fill bigger roles.

For Ohio, it's an opportunity to get some attention while the country is watching. The Bobcats were far from a pushover last year, winning 10 games including the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl against Utah State. This year, Ohio is thought to be tough again and should provide a stiff test for Penn State immediately.
