I don't know who painted up the field (pardon me, the pitch) for the Notre Dame-Navy game in Dublin, and I'd hate to imply it was something from Ireland who's never marked up a college football field before. But, man, it is not immediately easy to tell where the end zone begins and ends here, especially with all the shadows and whatnot:
Not trying to be a total 'MERICAN about this, but it almost looks like a too-small end zone was painted on top of another end zone, all of which isn't much darker than sideline white.
That play was correctly ruled incomplete, but Everett Golson came back on the next play and did pretty much the same thing. No matter the continent, Tyler Eifert is still extremely tall and nearly impossible to cover with service academy defensive backs.
