No. 5 Florida State will receive their biggest test of the 2012 season thus far when they host Wake Forest on Saturday.
The Seminoles are 2-0, but were not challenged by either Murray State or Savannah State. FSU won both games by a combined score of 124-3. The Seminoles are ranked second in the country in both offensive and defensive scoring. They are averaging 62.0 PPG on offense while allowing just 1.5 PPG on defense. Their offensive attack is well balanced as they are 34th in the country in passing yards and 28th in rushing yards.
Wake Forest is also 2-0 this season, although their two games have been much closer than FSU. The Demon Deacons beat Liberty 20-17 to open their season then edged North Carolina 28-27 to improve to 2-0. Wake Forest junior quarterback Tanner Price has completed 65.2 percent of his passes in 2012, but has thrown just one touchdown pass. Michael Campanaro leads the Demon Deacons with 260 receiving yards.
Wake Forest is looking for its second straight win against the Seminoles. They won 35-30 last season.
