The No. 24 Arizona Wildcats will look to stay unbeaten in 2012 as they take on the South Carolina State Bulldogs in a Week 3 matchup in Tucson on Saturday night.
The Wildcats, who find themselves in the AP Top 25 for the first time in nearly two years, are riding high after a 59-38 victory over then-No. 18 Oklahoma State Cowboys last Saturday. Arizona's 59 points was a school record against a nationally ranked opponent.
Arizona's offense is led by sophomore running back Ka'Deem Carey who scored five touchdowns in his first two games as the Wildcats' featured back. He rushed for 147 in the team's season opener against Toledo, and added 126 yards against OSU in Week 2, including four of those five touchdowns.
South Carolina State will ride the arm of junior quarterback Richard Cue. The Bulldogs' signal-caller shined in the the team's season-opener, with 300 yards and three touchdowns against Georgia State, but struggled last week throwing two interceptions and completing just 8-of-28 passes for 69 yards against Bethune-Cookman.
Saturday's game should be smooth sailing for the Wildcats, provided they don't take their FCS opponent too lightly.
