Notre Dame's Brian Kelly of course sells himself short here in his pre-match promo against Michigan coach Brady Hoke. Any man capable of creating a face colored in this fashion is a man to be feared inside the squared circle or any other circle, no matter how many Michigan fans have already very gently defaced said circle.
But, oh, Hoke's retort:
Brian Kelly on Brady Hoke: "In terms of a wrestling match, he's as big as he's ever been, so he's going to beat me on that one."— Brian Hamilton (@ChiTribHamilton) September 18, 2012
Hoke on @stoneyandbill about Brian Kelly calling him big: "I think I am. Large, husky, whatever. Chris Farley, whatever."— Mark Snyder (@Mark__Snyder) September 20, 2012
Hoke reminded that he was a wrestler when he was younger, but joked "if they have turnbuckles, I'd come off the top."— Mark Snyder (@Mark__Snyder) September 20, 2012
Let us also never forget that Brady Hoke called himself Chris Farley-ish. That's probably the most important thing that happened all week.
