Baylor takes on a Louisiana-Monroe squad that has been one of the surprises of the 2012 college football season.

As they ready for the start of their Big 12 schedule, the Baylor Bears will be faced with a surprisingly tough early season matchup Saturday against the ULM Warhawks -- an unheralded force coming into 2012, but after playing close with SEC teams in the last two weeks, the Warhawks present Baylor with a real test.
Baylor has relied on the strength of senior quarterback Nick Florence, who has thrown for seven touchdowns and two picks in 2012 in the Bears' two victories over Southern Methodist and Sam Houston State.
The Warhawks are coming off a tough overtime loss to the Auburn Tigers in Week 3 following their upset victory over then-No.8 Arkansas Razorbacks. ULM quarterback Kolton Browning threw for three touchdowns against both SEC defenses.
After the Warhawks, the Bears will face off against some of the best the Big 12 has to offer, with West Virginia, TCU and Texas on the horizon.
