Erique Florence Injury: Brutal Helmet To Helmet Hit
A scary helmet-to-helmet hit occurred Saturday night as the LSU Tigers were trying to milk the clock late in the fourth quarter with a 12-10 lead over the Auburn Tigers.
LSU quarterback Zach Mettenberger dumped off a pass to running back Spencer Ware in the flat. Ware scampered 33 yards for the easy first down, and was then met by sophomore defensive back Erique Florence:
Florence was forced to leave the game, though surprisingly he watched from the sidelines for the remainder of the game and at least appeared to be okay.
